Verify information before acting upon it– Qur’an 49:6

O you who have believed, if there comes to you a disobedient one with information, investigate, lest you harm a people out of ignorance and become, over what you have done, regretful.

Do not insult other Religions – Qur’an 6:108

And do not insult those they invoke other than Allah, lest they insult Allah in enmity without knowledge. Thus, we have made pleasing to every community their deeds. Then to their Lord is their return, and He will inform them about what they used to do.

Preach to others in a good and wise manner – Qur’an 16:125

Invite to the way of your Lord with wisdom and good instruction, and argue with them in a way that is best. Indeed, your Lord is most knowing of who has strayed from His way, and He is most knowing of who is [rightly] guided.

Difference in color and race are not means of superiority – Qur’an 49:13

O mankind, indeed We have created you from male and female and made you peoples and tribes that you may know one another. Indeed, the most noble of you in the sight of Allah is the most righteous of you. Indeed, Allah is Knowing and Acquainted.

Speak nicely, even when spoken bad to – Qur’an 25:63

Do not mock anyone – Qur’an 49:11

O you who have believed, let not a people ridicule [another] people; perhaps they may be better than them; nor let women ridicule [other] women; perhaps they may be better than them. And do not insult one another and do not call each other by [offensive] nicknames. Wretched is the name of disobedience after [one's] faith. And whoever does not repent - then it is those who are the wrongdoers.

Do not criticize small contributions of others – Qur’an 9:79

Those who criticize the contributors among the believers concerning [their] charities and [criticize] the ones who find nothing [to spend] except their effort, so they ridicule them - Allah will ridicule them, and they will have a painful punishment.

Do not call someone a disbeliever without knowing – Qur’an 4:94

O you who have believed, when you go forth [to fight] in the cause of Allah, investigate; and do not say to one who gives you [a greeting of] peace "You are not a believer," aspiring for the goods of worldly life; for with Allah are many acquisitions. You [yourselves] were like that before; then Allah conferred His favor upon you, so investigate. Indeed, Allah is ever, with what you do, Acquainted.

Do not turn your cheek away from people in contempt – Qur’an 31:18

And do not turn your cheek [in contempt] toward people and do not walk through the earth exultantly. Indeed, Allah does not like everyone self-deluded and boastful.

Forgive others as you would like Allah to forgive you – Qur’an 24:22

And let not those of virtue among you and wealth swear not to give [aid] to their relatives and the needy and the emigrants for the cause of Allah, and let them pardon and overlook. Would you not like that Allah should forgive you? And Allah is Forgiving and Merciful.

Make peace between fighting groups – Qur’an 49:9

And if two factions among the believers should fight, then make settlement between the two. But if one of them oppresses the other, then fight against the one that oppresses until it returns to the ordinance of Allah. And if it returns, then make settlement between them in justice and act justly. Indeed, Allah loves those who act justly.

That [has been commanded], and whoever honors the sacred ordinances of Allah - it is best for him in the sight of his Lord. And permitted to you are the grazing livestock, except what is recited to you. So, avoid the uncleanliness of idols and avoid false statement,

Do not backbite – Qur’an 49:12

O you who have believed, avoid much [negative] assumption. Indeed, some assumption is sin. And do not spy or backbite each other. Would one of you like to eat the flesh of his brother when dead? You would detest it. And fear Allah; indeed, Allah is Accepting of repentance and Merciful.

Restrain your anger - Qur’an 3:134

Who spend [in the cause of Allah] during ease and hardship and who restrain anger and who pardon the people - and Allah loves the doers of good;

Do not spread gossip – Qur’an 24:15-17

When you received it with your tongues and said with your mouths that of which you had no knowledge and thought it was insignificant while it was, in the sight of Allah, tremendous.
And why, when you heard it, did you not say, "It is not for us to speak of this. Exalted are You, [O Allah]; this is a great slander"?
Allah warns you against returning to the likes of this [conduct], ever, if you should be believers.

Think good of others – Qur’an 24:12

Why, when you heard it, did not the believing men and believing women think good of one another and say, "This is an obvious falsehood"?

Return greetings in a better manner – Qur’an 4:86

And when you are greeted with a greeting, greet [in return] with one better than it or [at least] return it [in a like manner]. Indeed, Allah is ever, over all things, an Accountant.

And speak to him with gentle speech that perhaps he may be reminded or fear [ Allah ]."

Do not involve yourself with slander – Qur’an 24:16

Do not accuse others without evidence – Qur’an 24:4

And those who accuse chaste women and then do not produce four witnesses - lash them with eighty lashes and do not accept from them testimony ever after. And those are the defiantly disobedient,

Don’t order righteousness while forgetting it yourself – Qur’an 2:44

Do you order righteousness of the people and forget yourselves while you recite the Scripture? Then will you not reason?

If unable to help a needy person, at least speak gentle words – Qur’an 17:28

And if you [must] turn away from the needy awaiting mercy from your Lord which you expect, then speak to them a gentle word.
